The CAO is currently looking for experienced and passionate optometric professionals to become CCOA Coaches for the following 2027 workshops:

Vancouver: Frame Selection & Adjustments (English – January 8–11, 2027)

The Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant (CCOA) Program is dedicated to advancing the skills, confidence, and professionalism of optometric assistants across Canada. Through a combination of online learning and a hands-on workshop, the program equips participants with the knowledge and practical experience needed to contribute to high-quality patient care and efficient practice operations.

A mandatory component of the CCOA Program is an engaging two-day, hands-on workshop designed to be educational and, most importantly, fun!
