Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and ocular health
- Diagnose and treat visual disorders, diseases, or injuries
- Prescribe corrective lenses or provide other vision aids
- Monitor patients for signs of systemic conditions affecting the eyes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation

Experience:

- Prior experience in optometry, preferably in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in optical procedures and equipment
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to optometry
- Familiarity with senior care and pediatric optometry
- Strong sales skills for recommending eyewear and products
- Exceptional patient care and communication skills
- Experience with electronic health records systems like Epic
