Purpose
The Canadian Association of Optometrists’ Vision Champion Award honours individuals and organizations, outside the optometric community for distinguished service to the eye health and vision care of all Canadians.
Honourary Membership
Purpose
The Canadian Association of Optometrists confers Honourary membership upon a person who has rendered exceptional service in or for the profession of Optometry or for outstanding public service in the vision and eye care field.
President’s Award
Purpose
The Canadian Association of Optometrists’ President’s Award is the most prestigious award presented by CAO and commends an individual Optometrist for significant advancement of the profession of Optometry in Canada through his/her work.
