FT Associate Position in Northwest BC

Fusion Eyecare is a member of the Eye Recommend network of independent optometry practices.  We are looking for a full-time or part-time optometrist to work in our Terrace and Kitimat clinics.

Both clinics are full-scope.  At the end of 2022, in Terrace we upgraded our OCT to a new Cirrus 6000, and installed a new HFA 3 field analyser in Kitimat.   We offer full pretesting, have an in-house edging lab (in Terrace), full dispensing, and contact lens services supported by our engaged and loyal staff.  We have an excellent working relationship with our local ophthalmologists.  Preference would be given to an applicant who is interested in developing a specialty clinic within the practice. 

Our compensation package is premium and includes extended medical benefits and a guaranteed minimum income for full-time associates.  A signing bonus of up to $25,000 may be available.

The Terrace/Kitimat area affords all the outdoor activities one can imagine.  The area is renowned for its world-class fishing and our local ski hill, Shames Mountain, is highly acclaimed for its phenomenal powder.  The Kitlope is a region of wild and pristine natural beauty, and the Pacific Ocean is just a short drive away.
