Lio & Light Eyecare is a modern, independent optometry clinic in the heart of Forest Hill Village, Toronto. Founded by Dr. Alexa Hecht, our practice emphasizes thorough, personalized eye care in a warm and welcoming environment.

We are fortunate to have a loyal, established patient base built over many years by a previously practising optometrist who has since retired, alongside a growing number of new patients.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an Ontario-licensed Optometrist for maternity leave coverage beginning January 2027 for approximately 4–6 months, with the potential to continue part-time afterward.

Schedule: 2 days per week (Saturdays + one flexible weekday), with the possibility of an additional day.

This is a great opportunity for a new graduate or experienced OD looking to join a supportive, well-established practice with an existing patient base.

What We're Looking For

• Licensed Optometrist in good standing with the College of Optometrists of Ontario
• Comfortable providing comprehensive eye exams, contact lens care, and managing a diverse patient population, including children
• Warm, professional, patient-centred approach
• Valid professional liability insurance
