Ms. Lithwick, an active volunteer with Fighting Blindness Canada, was recognized for her advocacy and fundraising work on behalf of individuals living with vision loss. In addition to her work with FBC, Ms. Lithwick has worked collaboratively with CAO to advance its advocacy objectives for a national vision strategy, including the establishment of a Vision Health Desk under the auspices of the Public Health Agency of Canada.
