Description d’emploi
Tired of the “Puppy Mill” Optometry Experience? Step Into our full scope Optometric Practice That Puts Patients First. Are you done with the fast-paced, high-volume environments where you're rushing through patients like an assembly line? This is a great opportunity for both new and experienced Optometrists.
Here’s Why You’ll Love Us:
Our primary focus is on creating a meaningful patient experience. We give you the space to build relationships, provide thoughtful quality care, and make a real difference in people’s lives (without racing the clock!). This is the perfect opportunity for new and experienced Optometrists.
What We Offer:
$15,000 Signing Bonus – Paid out quarterly because we appreciate your skills and expertise!
Competitive Salary – We take care of you, so you can take care of your patients.
Professional Freedom – Ditch the conveyor-belt style of care. We believe in giving you the time you need to offer personalized solutions that work. You'll have the chance to practice primary care and explore your passions in vision therapy, specialty contact lenses, myopia management, and dry eye disease.
State-of-the-Art Technology – Work with the latest technology, including Neurolens, myopia control, dry eye management, and specialty contact lenses.
Work-Life Balance – We believe in just a well-structured schedule that allows for both work and personal life.
Collaborative & Fun Environment – We’ve built a team culture that supports and goes the extra mile for each other, values open communication, trust and mutual respect. We’re more than just colleagues – we’re a team that shares your commitment to delivering the best care possible.
Growth Opportunities – We love learning! Whether it’s new technologies or advanced training, we support your professional growth every step of the way.
Community Involvement and Mentorship: We believe in giving back, participating in programs like Optometry Giving Sight, TOMS initiative, Calgary Homeless Shelter, Alberta Children’s Hospital, and more. We also train medical students from the University of Calgary and Opticians and Optometric Assistants from SAIT.
Requirements:
• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution.
• Good standing with the Alberta College of Optometrists.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A genuine desire to make a difference in patients' lives through excellent care.
