Optometrist

FYidoctors in Castlegar and Trail are recruiting for an Optometrist to join their practice in the West Kootenays of British Columbia.
We are flexible with the incoming OD on scheduling but there is the opportunity for 2-5 days in practice with us split between the 2 clinics. Trail and Castlegar are a 25 minute drive apart. Alternatively you could choose to practice 3 or 4 days per week allowing for excellent work life balance and the ability to take advantage of the regions fantastic outdoor activities. These clinics have been serving these communities for over 30 years presenting a fantastic opportunity for the incoming OD to walk into a full book of patients.

Our OD's are well supported by a talented and experienced team. The team provides pretesting support and manages the dispensary and patient fittings. Our doctors are currently seeing 15-20 patients per day with the vast majority of these patients being full exams. Trail and Castlegar have a diverse population group and our patient base has a nice variety of patients from young children through to elderly patients who have been attending the clinic a long time.

We are pleased to offer generous compensation incentives for the incoming OD as well as ownership opportunities within our group.
