Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Start Date: May 1, 2026 (Flexible - earlier start available)

With a coveted downtown location that sees steady walk-in traffic, a fully booked optometrist schedule, and a genuinely supportive team, Eyemaxx offers a dynamic yet welcoming work environment. We are proud of our in-house lab, intuitive online booking, and seamless insurance direct billing, all designed to make life easier for both our patients and our team.

We are currently seeking an Optometrist for a one-year maternity leave coverage, beginning May 1, 2026 (with the opportunity to start earlier for training and transition). This is an excellent opportunity to step into a well-established patient base within a fully supported and modern clinic environment.

Our Studio:
-Eyemaxx features three fully equipped exam lanes. Our technology includes a digital EMR system, autorefractor/keratometer/tonometer, OCT and Fundus Camera.
-You will be fully supported by a strong, experienced team, including optometric assistants, opticians, optical stylists, lab technicians, and administrative and operational support.
-Our mission is to provide our community with honest advice and top-quality care in a supportive and understanding environment.

Days Available:
-Flexible scheduling available, with weekend availability considered an asset.

Responsibilities:
-Perform comprehensive eye exams, including visual acuity testing, glaucoma testing, and overall eye health assessments
-Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses
-Diagnose and manage a range of eye conditions and diseases
-Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients
-Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
-Deliver exceptional patient care and education

Qualifications:
-Hold a valid Optometry License in the province of Ontario.
-New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
