URGENTLY HIRING AN OPTOMETRIST

We seek an Optometrist for our busy locations located in Etobicoke and Mississauga. We are looking for a skilled Optometrist to join our team with flexible hours, and brand new equipment. Our First location is Prestige Eyewear in Mississauga which is well-established since 2021 and second is Eyekonic Eyewear. If the candidate is willing to commute this position can be offered at both locations. Primarily position is been offered at Eyekonic.

EyeKonic Eyewear in Etobicoke is located in a highly populated area and in a very busy plaza with a lot of traffic. Both locations have well-experienced Opticians and sales associates. (Owner operated)

PRESTIGE EYEWEAR- 3045 Clayhill Road Unit 7, Mississauga.

There is no sales associated with this position, it is strictly medical examination, routine eye examination, and contact lens examination. This position is perfect for an O.D. who would like a few more days or hours per week.. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional eye care services to patients of all ages. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and make a positive impact on the community.

**Duties:**

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health

- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases

- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed

- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care

- Educate patients on proper eye care practices

**Experience:**

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

- Proficiency in medical terminology related to optometry

- Knowledge of optical products and services

- Experience with Epic electronic health records system is a plus

- Ability to work with pediatric patients and provide specialized care

- Strong focus on patient care and satisfaction

- Sales skills to recommend appropriate eyewear products

- Understanding of senior care needs in relation to eye health
