Eyemaxx Optical Studio is a locally owned and independent eyewear boutique located in the heart of downtown Ottawa. We are committed to being a leader and preferred provider of high-quality optical care, products, and services. Eyemaxx has a lab onsite to ensure ease of service and quick turnaround time for our clients. With a coveted location, consistent walk-in traffic, a fully booked optometrist schedule, and an exceptional customer service team, we offer a thriving and dynamic environment.

We take pride in delivering outstanding client care, starting with our highly qualified, friendly, and collaborative Optometrists. We are currently expanding our space to increase our services and exam availability!

As a result, we are looking for a dedicated and professional Optometrist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a practice with plans for growth and development.

Days Available:
-Immediate availability: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
-Expansion: Starting June 1st, we will have an additional doctor’s room. Additional weekdays will be available for interested candidates after the expansion.

Responsibilities:
-Perform comprehensive eye exams, including visual acuity tests, glaucoma testing, and eye health assessments.
-Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses.
-Diagnose and treat a variety of eye conditions and diseases.
-Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
-Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
-Provide excellent customer service and education to patients regarding their eye health.

Compensation:
-100% of Exam Fees: Keep all revenue generated from eye exams.
-Low Overhead: Pay only a nominal monthly rent fee.
-Growth Opportunities: Additional hours and expanded services will be available starting June 1st, following the completion of our clinic expansion.

Qualifications:
-Hold a valid Optometry License in the province of Ontario
-Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and relevant optometry equipment is an asset.
