Optometrist - Trail/Castlegar, BC

The Opportunity:
Join FYidoctors in Castlegar and Trail, BC as a Full-Time Optometrist in the beautiful West Kootenays. We offer flexible scheduling options: ODs can work a full 5-day week split between the two clinics or choose 3–4 days per week for excellent work-life balance and the chance to enjoy the region’s outstanding outdoor activities. These clinics have proudly served their communities for over 30 years, providing an incoming OD with the opportunity to step into a full patient book and make an immediate impact.

Clinic:
Our ODs are supported by a talented and experienced team, which provides pre-testing assistance and manages the dispensary and patient fittings. ODs currently see 15–20 patients per day, with the vast majority being full exams. Both Trail and Castlegar serve diverse populations, offering a patient base that ranges from young children to long-standing elderly patients, providing a rewarding variety in daily practice.
