SaveSight Vision Centre is seeking an optometrist locum to provide maternity-leave coverage beginning January 15, 2027, for approximately three months.

The position involves stepping into an established general optometry practice, working alongside another optometrist and physicians providing medical ophthalmology and glaucoma care. The practice has an established patient base and experienced clinical and administrative support staff.

We can guarantee three full days per week, with flexibility regarding which weekdays are worked. Additional days may also be available. Ideally, we would like someone who can provide coverage for the full maternity-leave period, although candidates with partial availability are encouraged to contact us.

Compensation: 55% of collected OHIP and non-OHIP professional revenue, negotiable depending upon experience and availability.

Accommodation can be made available if required, which may make the position particularly suitable for an optometrist coming from outside the Owen Sound area.
