Highland Optical and Westmount Optical are seeking an Ontario-registered Optometrist to join our growing team in Kitchener-Waterloo.

This is an opportunity for an Optometrist who wants to build a long-term practice with the patient flow, infrastructure, marketing, and staff support already behind them.

With an established patient base at Highland Optical and a brand-new location at Westmount Optical, the right Optometrist will have the opportunity to practice across two locations while developing their own growing patient base.

New graduates are absolutely welcome.

A New Location Built for Growth

Our new Westmount Optical location is situated in a busy plaza anchored by T&T Supermarket, in the heart of Waterloo.

The location is surrounded by established residential neighbourhoods and a growing concentration of condominiums, while also being positioned between the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University.

We see the location as an opportunity to build a significant long-term optometry practice serving families, professionals, students, seniors, and the surrounding Waterloo community.

More importantly, eye exams are central to how we are building and marketing the business.

Our website, digital advertising, social media, local marketing, and in-store messaging are intentionally designed around a primary call to action:

Who We're Looking For

We would love to speak with an Optometrist who is:

Registered and in good standing to practice optometry in Ontario
Patient-focused and committed to excellent care
Personable and interested in developing long-term patient relationships
Motivated to grow their own patient base
Comfortable working collaboratively with opticians, administrative staff, and ownership
Interested in a long-term opportunity in Kitchener-Waterloo

Experienced Optometrists and new graduates are both encouraged to apply.

Schedule

We are open to discussing part-time or full-time arrangements depending on the candidate.

There is flexibility in how days are divided between Highland Optical and Westmount Optical, allowing us to develop an arrangement that works for both the Optometrist and the practices.
