We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of eye conditions. This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and ocular health.
Diagnose and manage a variety of eye conditions, including refractive errors and ocular diseases.
Prescribe corrective lenses and other treatments tailored to individual patient needs.
Provide specialized care for pediatric and senior patients, ensuring age-appropriate communication and treatment plans.
Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
Collaborate with staff to coordinate patient care and follow-up procedures.
Utilize Epic electronic health records system for documentation and patient tracking.
Assist in sales of eyewear products and accessories, providing excellent customer service.
Stay current with advancements in optometry practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
Proven experience as an Optometrist or in a similar clinical setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to eye health.
Familiarity with optical equipment, diagnostic tools, and electronic health records systems such as Epic.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics and seniors.
Prior sales experience related to eyewear or optical products is a plus but not required.
