Dr. Linton graduated in 1984 and was active on the New Brunswick Association of Optometrists Council for twelve years, serving as Secretary Treasurer, Vice President and President. While President, she was relentless in pushing for the passage of TPA legislation, something that came to fruition during her term as Past President, and a testament to her leadership. Dr. Linton also spent 15 years with the Canadian Association of Optometrists, serving as President from 2011-2013. She served as hostess of CAO’s 2015 Congress in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
