Dr. Jones is a tenured clinical professor in the UW School of Optometry and Vision Science. For 25 years, she has been making a difference in the field of pediatric vision care and myopia control. She has also made a significant contribution to education, training over 2,000 optometry students at the University of Waterloo.
Dr. Jones is a major opinion leader in the field of myopia management, lecturing in Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and Europe. Last year, she authored the CAO's position statement on myopia control, making Canada the first country to declare that myopia management should be the standard of care for all children.
