World Council of Optometry (WCO) to Host 1st World Congress of Optometry

The WCO announced that it will hold the in augural World Congress in Medellin, Colombia next year. Susan Cooper, President of The World Council of Optometry, said: "WCO has been very lucky to host congresses around the world with the support of our members. We feel like Latin America is making a huge amount of progress within optometry and that Colombia will be a perfect location for the next congress." Further details on the conference program will be released later this Fall.
