Optometric Assistant for Eye + Vision Clinic Perth

We are looking for a full time Optometric Assistant for our multi doctor optometric practice. We pride ourselves on having both a strong focus on modern technology, as well as a large inventory of trending and classic eyewear to provide the very best in eye care and eye wear.

Requirements:

• Energetic, outgoing and helpful by nature
• excellent fine motor skills
• experience using technology beyond basic computer systems
• adaptable to a fast paced multi-tasking environment
• strong organizational and time management skills
• positive attitude, reliable, with strong work ethic

Duties:

• perform tests aimed at diagnosing/managing ocular ailments, disorders, and other problems using sophisticated, modern medical equipment such as Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer, Ocular Coherence Tomography, Tonoref.
• manage schedule of pretesting appointments
• patient booking and greeting, communication via telephone, email, fax & text
• general office procedures, filing and organization of charts, invoices and OHIP billing
