A number of times recently i have had a situation where my eyes seem to glass over - i get a clear liquid seeping into my eyes from my tear ducts that blurrs my vision - i carefully remove it with a tissue or my finger and then my eyes really burn for a few minutes until they clear - what is it that seems to be attacking my eyes and leaving me incapacitated for a few minutes untill it passes - my vision returns to normal after i clear them.

    Dr. Sally Aldayeh's response:

    Hi Paul,

Sounds roughly like inadequate tear film quality, I would recommend seeing your Optometrist, to get this checked properly. Good luck Paul
