I think I may have mixed up my gas permeable contact lenses. Is it possible for an optometrist to check the prescription to make sure I am wearing the correct lens in the correct eye? I have my prescription for glasses, is it the same as the prescription for my contacts? Thanks, Robyn

    Canadian Association of Optometrists's response:

Robyn, Your optometrist should be able to help you determine if you have mixed up your contact lenses either by measuring them directly, or by doing an over-refraction with the lenses in your eyes. The contact lens Rx is typically not exactly the sme as your spectacle Rx. Eric
