This is my second lenses put in these glasses for the same reason. I had two dots one in each lense . I i can see it all the time . Could it be from the holder when they are making the lenses if so how do i make it go away . I recently sent them back for new lenses because if im at work on the computer or watching tv im havinf to look around them because its so annoying and causing me headaches.

    Dr. Virginia Donati's response:

    Hello Sam,
Yes it is possible that it is the lens-cutting machine that is causing the problem.  It could also be from excess pressure on the lens which would occur if the lens was cut too big and squeezed into the frame.  I would recommend returning the lenses to the place where you purchased them to ensure that there are no defects on the lenses.  Just make sure that you are only seeing these dots when your glasses are on.  If you still see them when you remove your glasses, than the spots are actually present in your eyes and that is something that should be addressed as soon as possible by your optometrist.
    Good luck,
    Dr. Donati
