    Dr Langis Michaud

    Dr Langis Michaud graduated from School of Optometry of the Université de Montréal in 1986 where he also obtained his Master’s Degree in physiological optics. He received also a 3rd cycle diploma from École Nationale d’Administration Publique in Montréal. He has been Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry since 1989 and one of the 10 Canadians appointed Cornea and Contact Lens Diplomate by the AAO since 1994. Moreover, he has been a proctor and a resource-expert for this AAO section since 1997. Dr Michaud practices with Université de Montréal since 2001, focusing mainly on contact lenses and anterior segment diseases. He is involved in numerous clinical studies for pharmaceutical and contact lens companies and sits on the advisory board of a number of these firms. Because of his expertise he has often been invited to speak in Europe, Asia, and United States where, on many occasions, he was invited to address the American Academy of Optometry in Ellerbrock, the largest and well-reknown continuous education meeting in optometry. His pastimes are dedicated to his family. He loves to cook and can also recommend what wines go best with your meal!
