Mandatory Three-Day Workshop

The OAC workshop is designed to meet the training needs of those who are either new or experienced in optometric assisting. There is no need to prepare for the workshop beyond what is listed on the workshop sheet in the Required Skills Checklist. Although there is a great deal of course material covered in the workshop, it is presented at a comfortable pace and without any surprises or undue pressure on participants. Assistants should expect to enjoy themselves and to find it an exciting learning experience.

Workshop dates and locations are finalized late in the year. Workshops are scheduled from January through May, and are held in major centers across Canada.
