Children Vision Initiative
The Children’s Vision Initiative (CVI) has a mandate to educate children, parents/ guardians, teachers and providers, about the important correlation between vision and learning and to ensure Canadian children have no vision or eye health barriers which prevent them from reaching their full learning potential.
To achieve this, CVI provides leadership and resources to CAO members, provincial associations, stakeholders, government and the general public.
The CVI Chair reports to CAO Council. CVI is also made up of representatives appointed by provincial associations. This web page is for use by CAO members and CVI Committee members. The intent is to provide a wide range of resources that may be used at a national, provincial and practice level in an electronic format. Print resources are also available from the CAO national office. Use the links below to locate the information you require. Alternatively, use the website search function.
